i made it to level 49 before croaking on that one

Damn, the first one was near impossible..? I don't get it, I can't get enough cash to build decent towers and my machine guns can't get tje job done. ?

edit: the second one was hard as well imo, been a loooong time since i played all those twoer defence maps in 'WC3, heh.. forgot all my old 'skills', hehe

the first one is all about being cost effective
i start with 2 machine gun, upgrade once or twice, and then add sone flame thrower, wich i fully upgrade
place them so they can hit a long straight line
and then move on to the ligth tower at 800$ and so on
i made it to level 49, and you can change the map setup at the start as well

the second one is about cash
take the first upgrade as a tower that hits air and land, and the rest invest in cash, and beat that fucker

you actually need to complete level 51 to finish the game
and its really a matter of managing your cash, and efficient placing

Yeah, I think I was doing pretty good, at the end I tried to dump some of my flame throwers to upgrade my towers, and I put in a few more of those stun towers to slow them down. I think it's better to get one tower and keep upgrading than to have 2 or three, because the damage doubles each time you upgrade.

Best place to put those expensive towers is in the middle , because they can reach the entire map (or close to), that way they can keep shooting the entire time.

i used 4 lightning towers, the stun ones, upgraed to level 3
4 ice towers fully upgraded, those only served to slow down the incoming vessels

the rest was all light towers, upgraded to level 2, and i just put all my money in those untill the game ended

Heh, wierd, this time it was easy as cake.

First three miniguns, upgrade to level 3 each. Then firetowers placed in front of a stright line, then another one also facing a long straight line. Upgrade firetowers 'til max. Then all cold towers and void towers, the entire first quadrant was all cold, keeping the fuckers frozen while the void towers kept on pounding them, the AOE took'em down quite fast actually.

Didn't stand a chance versus the last enemy tho! He ran straight trhu my defence, but it didn't matter, I had 92 before hand, and he only did 50 dmg

Fun game, what now?

Level 28 is all about a little luck and avoiding the freeze balloons at all costs. I lob a few up so they come back down the other side, then a few more over the top and 2 to take care of the ones below should do it.

I think the "Bot Arena" games are fun, it's a similar concept, you build up your bots with armor and guns, and also decide whether to build up a bot or buy another one. Here's the latest version.

Me too, sad thing tho is that there's pretty much always one way to win, meaning you always end up with the same type of bots on the same level of difficulty.

Funny! Got to ~55-60 so far, gonna try another time with loads of lasers.

Nope, not all lasers, heh.. Had 9 of'em, but at lvl ~58 it just wasn't feasable no more. Damn, the game even lags, heh..

but i think the lightning canon might be a good idea, since that late in the game they got so much life, they act as body guards...
