Both shows were fairly good. Soprano's drug on a bit in the middle, but picked up. Entourage was just flat awesome as ever.
I'm gonna take a stab here after the first episodes, and from micro-second bites from trailers for both show's new season.
SPOILER ALERT!! If you haven't seen either show and don't want to know about it, stop now!!
Sopranos: Bobby totally hosed that hit job. The guy's got a handful of his shirt, he wasn't wearing gloves, he dropped the gun, and a bullet's rolling around in the dryer. Bobby's kinda a wuss, too. My prediction is, he's nabbed either next episode, or the one after, and then we have 1-2 episodes of him being pressured to roll on everyone. Faced with capital murder charges, he does finally, Tony goes as an accessory (and all the RICO crap) and the series ends with him on the way to the penn forever, if not the chamber for ordering the hit.... or, when Tony finds out how hosed up it was he wacks him, and then all bets are off!
Entourage: Ari nails Medellin for Vince, and this new agent hefer disappears by the end of the next episode. Hope so, she sucks, and is out of place in the show, period. Also, she hasn't been added to the cast list on the official HBO site, and they keep that thing pretty solid, so I think she's just a guest star for an epi or two. Further predictions - Drama's show takes off! (from a clip of a preview trailer, a voice over a shot of Vince and Drama walking together says "Can you believe it? A movie star and a TV star from the same family!") Well, good for Drama, I love the guy.
