the beside you in time dvd is alright, but no great
it suffers from overproduction, where you dont get the feel that its a live recording, as the sound was worked over so much
the bonus content is great though, and sounds/looks awesome
the year zero cd is a blend array of half interesting song, it all feels like a good product, with very little soul
theres a trent rap in the song capital G, and it often feels like electronic noise is almost added at random to give it more of a electronic/industrial feel

A lot of the old stuff is amazing. But i think you have to view music as single pieces of art to really enjoy a lot of his stuff. To each his own i suppose.
