its the first year where i really really really dont look forward at all to holiday xmas festivities and such
the whole thing stinks of hidden jealousy, greed and unfairness
of course its all based on good intentions, but they all go awry
having divorced parents always meant a great debate on who gets the kids, and where the kids give their gifts and whatnot
and now my dad's girlfriend is all hippy bonkers about xmas, and hides in her bedroom on xmas
makes for a great atmosphere
not only that, before this year, i always took time and reflected on what to give to people, and always made sure to give personalised gifts....
this year i cant think of any fucking thing
and i dont even have a clue what id like to get... shit i work, and if i want something i usually am able to buy it ...
im definately skipping new years, or just getting drunk witch of friends
as for xmas, i guess i cant skip that yet, but its just so akward and, we're all grown ups now, it doesnt feel right
fuck they even asked me to be santa in 2 years when my niece is 2 and a half...

Man, you really need to lighten up, bud.. Who gives a rats ass about personilzed gifts? You said it yourself, you're all adults now, so get drunk together and have a good time. Some years ago, before i hit 18, xmas wasn't really great :-/ The year after when everyone was 18+, xmas wasa fucking blast. The reason: alcohole.
And btw, just hang out with friends on new year, wha telse is there to do? It's one of those nights every year when the top priority is to hang out with friends, get drunk together,l hug everyone, tell'em you love'em, and drink some more.
Anywas, chll out dude, it won't be as bad as you tink(i hope), and don't go around worrying aboot being santa in like 2 years, that's a long time til then.

gifts cards are just cash, but with limits
