My god, this pvp is insanely awesome. I hooked up with Wraith Squad at the Theed Hotel tonight for pvp. We held Dark down inside as usual, but we decided to try pulling them out. It worked, we pulled them out into the noob fields and slaughtered em.
They then took to the palace and proceeded to hand us our asses in a paper bag which they then decided to light up like a fucking torch. Ass and Flame dont smell nice. We regroup and hed to ACHERON! Home town baby. Dark either found out we were there or wanted to flank us by going through that beautiful rebel city, and we were at the shuttle when they loaded. Shit bombs, plasma mines, snare traps and every other make-you-die shit dropped at the shuttle steps.
After they died, we decide to take the battle to their home turf. This is the first pvp in the NGE where we went outside of theed and I tell you that this is what the NGE was made for. When bases come back and the GCW hits gold, this is what its all about. We litter the HoD shuttleport with mines and traps. Then we wait. Dark comes in from the north and lay their own traps between two sets of houses and try to lure us. Of course we almost take the bait but we're able to stand off and battle for a good 45 minutes straight. We finally pushed them passed their mines and went around them, pinning them down between two houses and a guild hall. Daeyron and Amintor with Archetype take the western pass and push them back while I come around the back of the guild hall with a small contigent of commandos and medics. we slice em in half, taking out about 4 of their numbers and the chase is on.
We took em out by the shuttle, I was yelling in vent to lure them to our traps, just to see their surprise. We took over HoD and decide to call it a night, heading to Moenia to go on leave. When I load into Mo, I hear shouts that Dark went overt and loaded into the starport right on top of us. We load ganked em again!
This was better imo then Keim and Me taking North Beach in Hendola, although the comparison is rough to make.
