What are some bands that you guys listen that you don't think I would have heard of? I'm looking for any genre of music, just give it to me.
I've been listening to a Brazilian band called Planet Hemp. Rap/Metal/Funk. I have no clue what they are saying, but it sounds cool.

check out alive in athens, or burnt offerings if you dont like live recordings
good thrash / power metal band
check out lucca turilli for some high energy power metal, dont fear the falsetto, this is great workout music!
Strapping young lad, check out the albums City, and Alien
extreme death metal, way good stuff, really!
Sunna is a great grunge rock band, if you can find it, its a cool listen
aphex twin makes some weird electo music, its not always an easy listen, but i have bouts of longing for those weird sounds/beats

Hehehe.. well you're not up-to-date, 'cause Sweden accepts way more immigrants than any other country in europe, at least if you look at the ratio swedes/immigrants. We have more than 15, or maybe even 20 percent immigrants in the first, second ior third generation.flint wrote:all good stuff so far

Btw, if we are talking metal music, then I have to recommend Anathema if you haven't heard them.
They really are two different bands, one earlier and one later, they evolved so much that they pretty much left the metal-genre and become something else, and once again, I cannot define their new genre.
I fucking love them, and too many nights I have spent drinking too much wine and singing to their songs so loud that my GF wants to break up the engagement! hahaha..
Here's a few of my favorite songs with them:
anathem - one last goodbye
This one may be slow in teh beginning, but to my bleeding heart, it's just a beautyfull song! Man, I get goose bumps when Im drunk and singing with teh lyrics to this song, hehe.. Nvm the crappy video though, dunno who the fuck mixed the youtube video wit hthis song, but didn't bother to find a better version.
Anathem - judgement
This song is just so fucking good I never want it to end! Agai, quite slow in teh beginning, but for the love of god, keep listening!
