Omg.. I almost creamed my pants when I saw pics of this new concept car, unfortunetly it will most likely never be built and thus will remain a dream for all eternity..
Check this beauty out! This pics almost brings tears to my eyes, how can such a gorgeous car be only a concept car? I say, put it into production now, I know I'm far from teh only one who would love to get my hands on a car liek this!
It's name is Holden Efijy and it's built in ozzyland!

i think its funny how alot of new cars, are based on older models and looks
and this one just goes even further back then that mustang/charger etc...
gotta say it does look better than a 1989 corolla though
also a production car wouldnt be as shiny, or it would be something we couldnt own

True. I liek the curves and smooth lines of older cars, inspired from the 50's and such. This one, really takes that inspiration of the old and brings it into the future IMO.
The "new" mustang though is another good example of how you should revive a incredibly boring car model by going back in time and find some inspiration. It's really fucking cool, and looks incredibly masculine, heh
Why would it be so expensive just because it's shiny? I doubt the paint job would be the most expensive part of that car, should it ever hit production, heh.. I read some of this concept car, and it's stacked with all the newest technology and with a beefed up engine, so yeah, it would most likely be unaffordable anyhow, heh..

it would be a luxury car, so it would be expensive
some of the redesigns based on older models are great, i agree
but the new charger just plain sucks, it seems clear to me they didnt really capture the spirit of the car... i mean come on, 4 doors??
some are more successful of course
ie: the new camaro, it looks ok, but it definately seems to have had the same inspiration of line as the mustand did, and all those models get that sort of blockyness that was in the cadillac models, like the xlr and cts, and the cts has familiar lines with the chrysler 300...
basically all those cars have that same blocky appearance, and i do think it looks good, but its not very original anymore
as for the original prototype car, its beautiful, but i wouldnt wanna drive that in the winter around these parts

Heh, now I'm starting to agree with what Shir said above, all those new or concept cars really do look the same!
That Trans Am sure looks kinda lika all the rest of the above mentioned cars, heh..
And btw, yes Koenigsegg is actually a swedish car. I think it's the fastest car available for purchase nowadays. It's been involved in some serious injuries and fatalities though, heh.. most ppl just can't handle the sheer power in that car, it seems.
