I feel like its about to riot here. i hear people in cars screaming out the window "obama won, omaba won"

oi... go to bed

I hope he doesn't fuck -everything- up in the next 4 years.

everyone actually think its going to be bad cause obama won? If anything things can only go up from where they've been.

whether you dislike him though, meh whatever that doesn't mean he won't make atleast a decent-average president, and i severly doubt he'll be the worth president in history like the last guy.

if anything i'm excited for the future of the country, although i don't know the outcome, he won't be president for like 2.5 months anyways.

Bush will largely be forgotten in 100 years, just like president polk, fillmore, and Quincy Adams. He'll be known for the Iraq war, and the second son of a president to be president. not much else.

Somehow it seems everyone outside of US wanted Obama to win, Sweden included. It always stuns to to see ppl who would normally never discuss national politics have so certain views on an international election?

Yes, it does affect teh whole world when/if you guys elect a new pres, but some ppl here seem to think that if Obama lost and McCain won, then the end of the world would be near.

Sure, I ain't to fond of your foreign politics the last couple of years, but to think a democrat (no offense) can change the financial crisis is IMHO rather foolhardy.

Congrats to those of you who voted on Obama though, lets hope things get better.. for US and the rest of the world, heh :)

I honestly couldn't have cared less who won since I'm permanently back in Canada now ... it'll be interesting to see how Obama lives up to the hype that has surrounded him.

God was I fucking sick of seeing everyone and their kid who WASN'T american blabbing on about and "donating their facebook status to" Obama. It was really quite irritating from a personal standpoint because either way one of the guys was going to win and it's not like either one of them has a magic bullet for the current global economic issues.

People still use facebook? I thought that fad was over months and months ago.

Shaz, cool to see an old face again, and yeah I agree, it will be interresting to see if Obam,a can live up to the near god-like impression some ppl have of him.
